Recently Samsung introduced the Samsung NX mini Smart Camera, the world's slimmest and lightest interchangeable-lens camera. It features a 75.2mm (3in.) Flip UP and Touch Display that can turn 180 degrees. It has a 20.5MP BSI CMOS Sensor with 6fps Continuous Shot and 1/16000 second shutter speed.
Myoung Sup Han, the Executive VP and Head of the Imaging Business Team at Samsung Electronics quoted as saying: "Through its NX line, Samsung is committed to providing high quality imaging products that enable users to easily capture and then share their most treasured moments. Samsung introduced the first flip up touch display camera in 2011 as a leader of the selfie trend, and has designed this new device in response to evolving consumer demands for maximum creativity and style."
While the Samsung NX mini Smart Camera does provide exactly what the Executive VP said, the camera also provide some nice features as well. With advanced Wi-Fi and NFC integration, sharing photos has become a lot easier. With their Tag & Go connection, you can pair your camera to tablets and smartphones by touching them together. Once connected, some of things you can do are:
- Use Remote View Finder Pro to control the camera.
- Share multiple images to other paired devices.
You can also upload images to the cloud (i.e. Dropbox) for easy storage thanks to the IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi Connectivity.
Plus with three mini lenses available for optimal use and up to fifteen lenses with the device using a specialized adapter, the evolution of mini Smart Camera is here.
